A severe storm has skirted by the Tempe, Arizona area where J1 is located.  We had a tornado watch and some local radio listeners reported seeing cyclones in nearby Scottsdale (about 10 km away).  As of right now, the winds have calmed down and the rain has stopped.

Another storm is expected to reach the Phoenix area in the morning local time.  For this reason, J1 will continue to operate in the Basic Broadcast mode until approximately 6PM MST on Friday when we will reassess the situation.

When J1 is on Basic Broadcast Mode, our maximum number of free listeners is increased to 40 but our playlist is very limited.
