Why should North America and Japan have all of the fun?  J1 is extending it’s “9 to 5 Challenge” promotion to include Europe. 

The 9-to-5 Challenge for Europe will run between 9AM and 5PM Central European Time, except during summer when it will run between 9AM and 5PM British Summer Time (BST).  

This 8 hour period is currently not covered by the other two 9-to-5 Challenges.

The J1 9-to-5 Challenge is a daily competition just for fun that totals up the hours of listening during three periods of the day.  Bonus points are given to VIP listening hours.  Scores are posted after the end of the business day in the Pacific Time Zone.  This promotion is intended to encourage “at work” listening.  No prizes or any other consideration is given in this promotion.  So far, this promotion has been very successful for J1.
